I got home last night! and already I am pretty much on schedule (i woke up at 7:45) so i should be fine for work tomorrow. If I can get over this cold. France was awesome! I loved it, Kymmie was neato and the white stripes rocked! Oh, and my new louis vuitton Alma in black multi-color is beautiful! I can definitely see myself going back to France. Now that I am home, however, I am having a dilemma. Should I, or should I not buy tickets to see the white stripes again in Seattle in September? So here I am. In France. Lazing about the apartment. Yesterday we went to the louvre. (To the Louvre!) And it was fun. we saw a bunch of renaissance art, and the mona lisa . . so much smaller than I thought it would be. And a lot of statues. i'll upload when i get home. Then we ate lunch out at the foutains by the pyramids and walked (or in my case hobbled) through the gardens across the street. Man, my feet are blistered and i torched my back trying to sleep on the plane, so now it has been giving me fits. Tres uncomfortable. We are watching pimp my ride UK dubbed in French. Or The Hills now. Mtv anyway. I feel like a big downer, all I want to do is sleep today. it's my inner american. So we are taking a down day and tomorrow will resume our festivities with a trip to masse at the notre dame. I feel so funny taking pictures. But EVERYONE is taking pictures. It's weird, all of my normal sites are defaulting to French. Oh. In other news, after freaking out about our train rides from paris to brest and then brest to paris, and trying to get from the montparnasse station to the gare du nord in less than an hour to make it from paris to london in time to check in, we cancelled our hotel in brest and extended our stay in London. from now I will be on a plane to FRANCE. Well technically it's going to london, but we're laying over and going to france. I have my voice mail set up, i have my passport, my credit card companies know i will be there, I am packed, i just need to buy a few last minute things and wax my eyebrows, and we're good to go. wish me luck! I have rented two rooms, one in Brest, France, One in London England, I am waiting for the perfect apartment to fall in my lap. maybe i will have to resort to a hotel. SIGH! OH LOOK at who just happens to be in Paris when I will be there I am just waiting for Ms. Kymmie to yay or nay it. So I am now the proud owner of one Creative Zen (30gb) which is half full of my mp3s and celebrity jeopardy clips. Oh, and for some reason I also have a lot of Madonna music videos. Now, I am having a problem. Should I bring my Laptop with me to France? Pros: I won't have to worry about my camera getting full. I will be able to charge my Zen I will have my laptop available if I feel the hankering to go to some trendy cyber cafe. Cons: I can buy a 1 or 2 gb camera card for under $100. Plus my 1gb camera stick is a LOT of pictures. I can buy a Zen Charger with a travel adapter I will have to worry about losing/breaking my precious laptop my laptop weighs a million pounds. Discuss. I love this movie. I remember watching it with an old friend when I lived in Orting Washington. I can't believe how young Christina Ricci, Thora Birch and Gaby Hoffman look. Ricci was just in Entertainment Weekly, she looked so elegant, her hair was curly and she had a pleasantville-esque about her. I wish I had more girlfriends. Speaking of good friends, my friend and her husband took me out, got me drunk and let me puke in her car. Wasn't that sweet? I Think, but don't want to jinx it, that one of my goals is down, but we'll see come our next family celebration. Anyway. My next thing to do if book our hotels/apartment. And then Fine tune my day to day stuff. I am trying to keep one thing a day, and not planning any meals so we can improvise, or base on how we feel. Vanessow
